About the Client
Justin Azzarello is a Tik Tok and Youtube influencer who inspires others about being yourself and living the best in life.
1. Logo Design
Overview
A logo design that makes it easy for Justin’s followers to distinguish his brand from other influencers.
Brief
To design a logo that is bright and colourful, joyful and creative. The logo must be simple, and patterns and icons can be created from the logo itself.
The Work
As Justin wanted his brand to showcase his dance, singing and motivational videos, a star icon was used as the main image for the brand. The star was split into multiple sections using various size circles overlapping each other. These sections were filled with different contrasting bright colours that evoke different emotions.
A rough, brush script font was selected as the primary font for the logo. From this font, the “J and A” were used as an overlap over the star icon.
I then created two secondary logos from the primary logo that Justin could use instead of the primary logo.
- A version of the logo without the text underneath. Justin could use this logo on social media and phone applications.
- An icon-based image. This logo is an alternate to the primary and no text version of the logo. To create this logo, I used a photo supplied by Justin and created a vector silhouette. I then over-imposed the vector on top of the star icon and added some circles around it to give it a little more jazz.
2. Pattern Designs
Overview
Pattern designs to go on various promotional products.
Brief
To design a series of patterns using the logo or sections from the logo that also represent the brand.
The Work
Using separate sections from the logo, I created a pattern tile using Adobe Illustrator. I then set the various settings to begin constructing the visual layout of each pattern.
3. Business Cards
Brief
Design business cards that work with the brand but are still easy to read.
The Work
To best suit the branding, I went with a square card design. We placed the icon-based logo on the back of the card with Justin’s hashtag #HipHipHappy below the logo and all contact information and the primary logo on the front.
4. Roll-up Banner
Overview
A roll-Up banner that Justin could use as a background or showpiece when he went to venues
Brief
A basic banner design that was bright and would stand out in a crowd.
The Work
Using a supplied image of Justin as a background image, I used the chosen font style for his name at the top while incorporating his website and social media info at the bottom.
5. Promotional Products
Brief
Justin wanted various promotional products showcasing his brand in a fun and funky way.
The Work
Using the patterns created, I added these to multiple different promotional products to showcase his brand.
